Hmm… I think I see it 😀 Is it by the top left-ish corner of the sink?

Oh no! I am so sorry for your loss!!! Edward sounds like he was an amazing bun 😭❤️ I also just recently lost my 7 year old bunny, and it felt beyond terrible. But you did everything you could for you sweet boy. And now he’s crossed the rainbow bridge where he’s doing everything and anything he wants! He also wants to see you happy. Sending prayers…[Read more]

I think he has a wool block, he had his first hard poop in 24 hrs and it was full of hair and upon further inspection it was just a ball of hair covered in poop.

I have been making hay on my own from bermuda grass which my rabbit only nibbles at.

Try not to be too discouraged. I know that’s easier said than done but setbacks happen and they can usually be overcome. If you put them in the office side by side, when one bun is out playing let the other go in their space, kind of like prebonding again. That will help with making the territory belong less to one of them.

Thank you both so much for being so helpful and responsive! They’ve been together for four hours so far and no issues. Wolfie just flopped over and is getting groomed. In this stage do I have to keep them largely confined, or can I let them run around?
    thanks again!

Surprisingly in my experience, Nethie’s have a similar personality to English Lops. He acts so much like both my previous EL’s Oliver and Moonshine.

I was warned about the Nethietude. I laugh so hard when he tries to boss my 115lb dog around and she just stares at him like “you know you fit in my mouth right?”

It sounds like everything is going great!

Given that everything is going well, I think as long as you can supervise for a couple days after the move then it’s fine to move them together! I wouldn’t separate them at this point!

My bunny Edward died last night. He was fine on Monday and I took him to the vet just for a checkup. One of his bottom teeth looked like it was inflamed around the gums, but he showed no real signs that it had been bothering him at all. The night before he was so bouncy and was chasing me around so much to the point that it was kind of annoying.…[Read more]

Alright I followed my gut and moved forward so I can really solidify the bond before moving. After nearly 2 hours of cleaning I moved them into a shared xpen in semi-neutral space. They seem fine together and are cuddling as I write this, though they both tried to find some way to escape. The real test will be when the zoomies hit.

    Hopefully all…[Read more]

I agree that keeping her indoors in an adequately sized enclosure would be the ideal solution. The next best option would be a predator-proof “bunny shed” with an attached run. She could still have free roam of the shed at night.

What Wick is describing is very possible. Sometimes infections can be very difficult to treat. They will “go away” and “come back” because the antibiotic only knocked it back some… instead of fully eliminating it. You may need to try a different antibiotic and go for a longer treatment.
