My bunny had a bump by his tail. The vet said it’s nothing to worry about. He drained it and it has not come back since. He said it was a cyst

Agree with Wick & Fable, buns do seem to love peeing on beds. I know some members have had success with putting a plastic shower curtain over the bedding with a thin blanket on top. This blocks the smells from the bed so it can reduce marking and also makes accident clean up easier.

Inherently, beds are a very attractive and tempting place for even the most litterbox adherent rabbits to mark because it is comfy and so scent-filled. There is honestly little you can do to stop it aside from limiting bed time and/or putting a literal litterbox on your bed to attempt redirecting the behavior.

I think w/ this being concerning the throat/neck muscles and potentially respiratory issues, unless you spend the resources to do some imaging, we will unlikely be able to pinpoint an answer.
