Time to perfect your strategies for petting two buns at once, which IMO is one of the best things about having a bonded pair! 😀
But in all seriousness as long as he’s not chasing her off or being aggressive towards her then it’s totally normal.

Rabbits are pretty simple creatures, so rather than interpreting it as “jealousy”, I have always seen it more as “Oh! I want that too!”, as opposed to “How come they get that but I don’t?”. When a rabbit pet learns human pets are nice, of course they’d want it when they notice it’s available 🙂

Miu is finally letting me give her pets, we just have one problem… Dorian. He has decided he should have a monopoly on my attention. He’s not aggressive, but he does butt her out of the way and insist he gets pets instead. IÂ know we’re pretty bonded, but so are him and Miu and he lets her have treats with out any drama. It’s not causing fights…[Read more]

Yes, it’s safe. If it is intended for pets, then it shouldn’t be treated with anything.

She will likely be fine. You can keep an eye on her, of course. But any issues would manifest within a day, so you shouldn’t need to monitor for very long.

Hello there!
A few minutes ago i was cleaning my bunny’s room and i didn’t know my sister forgot her clutch there with a pack with one gum in. I got out for a second and when i came back my rabbit was chewing on the gum and foil, luckily, i’ve noticed she didn’t swallowed none gum or aluminum, but i’m scared it can poison her by xylitol, sorbitol…[Read more]

I got a grass plant today for pets, just wanted to know if it’s safe for rabbits. The ingredients are “organic oats, organic wheat, organic barley”

DanaNM replied to the topic Correcting litter box habits while bonding in the forum BONDING 2 years, 8 months ago
So, litter box habits usually go out the window during bonding, and it can take a bit of time for them to return once the pair is bonded. In my experience, rabbits fall into two camps. One camp is buns that pick an area of their cage as the toilet, and will go there, so that’s where we put the litter box. The other camp is buns that are very…[Read more]

I’m so sorry you are going through this, but please try not to panic! It’s true that megacolon rabbits often have shorter lifespans, but with a care plan they often do much better. Usually megacolon buns will need a motility medication daily, as well as a high calorie diet, such as supplemental feeding with critical care or another recovery food…[Read more]

Zooming. Binkying. Eating. Pooping. Getting into mischief. Is there any sound lovelier than a bunny munching on some hay?
