There’s the old shower curtain trick. It’s used for bunnies that like the pee on the bed, but I think it would work for digging too. Or at least it would slow her down enough that you would have time to intervene.

It can be challenging to find neutral space with a free roam bun, so sometimes you have to think outside the box. I’ve had good luck in the past with using the bathtub (although a shower stall would work, too, if you can block off the front). Arthas finally got his neuter done on Wednesday! We had to cancel his original appointment due to us being sick. But, he did well with the surgery.
