We all love cute rabbit toys. LOL
I agree. There is quite the selection of quality pellets out there that all do a good job of meeting a rabbit’s nutritional needs. In fact, there are even comparison charts out there that can help you choose a pellet within your market that best fits the recommended nutritional values. Additives are not…[Read more]

Due to the central status and sensitivity of rabbit GI systems in overall health, supplements are not recommended unless medically recommended, in which case there exists options already. Unlike dogs and cats, things encouraging “calmness” would not be related to diet– rabbit GI transit works on a very quick clock.
My opinion is the current…[Read more]

Great thoughts on the subject matter.
Let me look at it with two different angles then. We can look at the scientific aspect and the playful angle.
To keep it as simple as possible, they have manufactured organic addicitives that with small amounts, such as one gram spread out through 1 kg of food, can provide your dog with the added nutrients…[Read more]

Well honestly, no pet food will make any pet grow hair faster etc unless the pet used to be on a type of food that didnt provide enough nutrients for adequate hair growth.
The same goes for humans, really. If you have a dietary induced vitamin B deficiency, you’ll benefit greatly from food enriched with vitamin B. Otherwise not. And so on.
Some…[Read more]

Hello everyone,
I think this is the best plac to ask, a group of people who clearly think in a similar way and have the same passion for animals
What I have realized is the dog and cat food industry provide so many options in their foods. Foods can make your animal calmer, softer, grow their hair faster. Where are these options for our pet…[Read more]

I’m very sorry Misty passed.
If you’re at home a lot, Ginger might be fine with you as a life partner instead of another bun. It is better for buns to have a same species partner, but that isn’t always possible for very many different reasons. It is very hard to cope with the loss of a rabbit.

Hi,
some of you may remember a few of my posts about ginger and Misty. Yesterday Misty was hiding and weak and I knew something was wrong. I took her to the vets and they couldn’t find anything specific but gave me something to keep her gut moving and pain killers. She progressively stopped eating and drinking and I was hand feeding and sy…[Read more]

Idk…. the combo of slight head tilt, urinating everywhere, and behavior change makes me think you should investigate EC. My senior started showing excessive urination and what I thought was arthritis. He did in fact have arthritis but he also had EC which I didn’t treat until things had been going on for a long time. Treating for EC is pretty…[Read more]

I really hope it’s not EC… I figured if it was EC, her physical symptoms would be way worse at this point since it’s been going on for a year.
I’ve confirmed that there’s nothing scaring her in the basement. Firstly because they’ve always been in the basement and nothing has been added or removed to the room, and also because i’ve brought…[Read more]
