He’s young and this is normal, especially for young bunnies. They are typically eating a richer diet to help them grow. A side effect is excess cecotropes. They simply make more than they can eat. This problem usually resolves itself when they transition to an adult diet. As for the regular poop eating… yeah, that’s normal too.

I’ve been doing it once every 2 months. But it really depends on the bunny, how quickly their nails grow, and how much they are worn down naturally.

I’ve found that when the nail starts to extend out of the fur of their feet is when they need to be clipped. Of course, if your rabbit’s quick extends that far into the nail, wait! Oh yes, their hormones can definitely get a boost from winter becoming spring. As Dana said, it can affect spayed/neutered rabbits too.
