Yes, I would like to know as well. Some bunnies are just… lazy. I had a bunny that never binkied or did zoomies. Never. He slept a lot. My current bunny runs around like a maniac all the time.

It isn’t unheard of to give them together. They each work in a different part of the gut, so the theory is they are safe to give together. I don’t know about actual dosage though.

Yes, I think buns are often misunderstood and the bond shared between them and their human.

I also agree that some people tend to like to “one up” others, whether that be in grief or other areas of life.

I had a cat that lived 19 years, I do think the time made an impact.  But mostly because the memories and bond you form in that time. Her death was also very traumatic and that didn’t help. I had a bunny that had hindquarters instability later in life after an injury. He declined rapidly after that point but I was looking into getting him a wheelchair. They make bunny wheelchairs online if you have the measurements. This might improve his quality of life. Just a thought.

I also agree, it’s not a competition. I think some people just misunderstand bunnies the bond bunnies and humans can have, probably due to them being viewed as ‘lesser’ like other people have said. A very large litter tray might help. We use the bottom of one of them pet store rabbit cages repurposed as a big hay station and they really seem to enjoy all the space, perhaps something like that could help. I’m sure the buns would *love* the alfalfa, but we would have to get them all little scooters to roll their fat little selves around on lol.

You would have to look at the analysis and decide if it’s close enough to what the recommendations are. It is true that a lot of the pellets at farm stores are going to be formulated for meat or show rabbits and, therefore, have more calories, etc.
