My senior rabbit Lola died in my arms today. She was recovering from being sick and took a turn for the worse. I held her in my lap the whole way to the vet and half way there she closed her eyes and stopped breathing. She will be reunited with her bonded partner Nugget who passed away 3 years ago. I do not know what caused her death but she was around 9 years old and fighting a respiratory infection. She would have been on antibiotics for two weeks this Sunday.
