Is your bunny housed indoors or outdoors? Indoor he is like my child i wouldn’t leave my child outside

Pooping and Diet – Very Important

Hi Rabby_Rabb, in young rabbits the appearance of a white line in the eye can indicate infection with the parasite E. cuniculi. It is treatable but should be addressed ASAP to prevent further damage. Blindness in rabbits is not actually a huge problem for them, but the parasite can cause other neurological damage and paralysis/seizures if left untreated. There are other things that could be responsible for the white line but based on your description that would be my guess.

You should definitely take your bun to a rabbit-savvy vet to get the appropriate diagnosis and treatment. Thankfully the medication is very affordable and safe for the bun.

I agree. This sounds like EC, especially if this “white line” is inside the eye (uveitis) since this is most commonly seen in younger rabbits. The good news is it is treatable and the treatment is relatively inexpensive. You do want to get on top of this right away though so it doesn’t cause more damage. EC can affect so many things and the symptoms can present quite differently depending on what the EC is attacking in the body.
