Ringworm is rabbits is usually not treated with bathing, as it can be dangerous to bath rabbits.

My vet is the only for hours around that sees any exotic pets. So it’s all I have to go on. That why I’m here trying to hunt down some answers. I have no idea what to do.

The active ingredient is chlorhexidine. Diluted chlorhexidine is “safe” to use on rabbits, but some individuals are sensitive to it and can suffer chemical burns. As Dana pointed out though, baths are not recommended except under very extreme circumstances. There are many treatment options available for ringworm. Medirabbit has a nice article about it: http://www.medirabbit.com/EN/Skin_diseases/Fungal/Fungal_en.htm

I used chlorohexidine to treat my rabbit’s ringworm, but my exotic vet advised me to just spot-clean the spots. I used a system of wet towels and q-tips to wet the area slightly, apply and slightly scrub in the soap, and then rinse and dry using more towels and qtips as needed. At no point is water being poured or sprayed on the rabbit, and I think this is the most safe method.

Notably, his ringworm overlapped with syphilis, so the stubbornness and number of different treatments tried may be a consequence of that.
