The bunny room (my room lol) is in desperate need of a new coat of paint, but I’m concerned that it can have negative health effects on them. There’s no way for me to move them somewhere else so I just have to open the windows and keep it ventilated. Does anyone have any paint brand they recommend? Is this something I should be as worried about as I am? I’m looking at Lowe’s and Home Depot and they have like… no eco-friendly options. Have you ever painted the room your bunny was in, and if so did you get a special kind?

I can see the fur stuck in the paint on the walls now…

Any low VOC, water-based paint should be fine. If you can keep them away from the walls while they are drying and open the windows, it should be fine. I’ve applied paint to the walls in the bunny room before and never had any issues. I haven’t painted the entire room though. It was more of a… repair. LOL

Oh yeah they would definitely be kept away from the walls lol! I can’t seem to find water-based wall paint though, only acrylic and latex. 😕

              Latex is water-based.

Oh shoot well that makes it easier! I’m not well-versed in paints lmao. Thanks a bunch. 😁
