I suggest not picking up a new bunny as it really scares them, I suggest you sitting in her pen and letting her smell and climb on you, this will help build the trust, then you can start handling her, you just don’t want her scared.

She should be getting a lot of exercise. I always suggest reading articles on house bunny society for first time bunny owners for housing, illnesses and other much needed information, they cover so much information that will help you, also make sure to find a rabbit savvy vet and not a regular vet, as you will probably have 1 or 2 emergencies in the future and will need to take her there.

6 weeks old is too early for her to be leaving her mother, bunnies should be going home at 8 weeks. You’ll really want to keep an eye on her poop and eating habits these first few weeks to make sure she’s doing okay, I agree with the above about not picking her up and handling her. some bunnies are just naturally shy and can take months to open up. the best thing to do is just to get to know her on her level and letting her decide when/how much she wants to interact with you. my buns are usually active about 6-8 hours a day and loaf around the rest of the time. making sure she has ample space in her cage/pen can help and letting her out for at least 4 hours a day will make sure she’s moving around. she’s still very new and very young. she’s probably really scared and won’t be adventurous for a little bit. just be patient
