I got my Holland lop doe about 2 weeks ago, she is my first bunny and I was so nervous before picking her up.

I used the forums, Q&A, searched and researched on bunny care, good practices, what to watch out for etc. which in the end helped me a lot to prepare to become a bunny daddy.

I am glad to say that my little Momo, seems happy thanks to this. Following the advice, and learning from other peoples experiences here. She was afraid the first day, but came around during the second day – and she started to flop on the 5th day (I took days off work, prepared a multitude of toys, etc. for her during her first week).

During the second week she started to binky while doing the bunny 500, running around like crazy everywhere.

And just this morning, she followed me around as I was preparing to go to work, and as I sat down she jumped up on my lap and demanded a head massage after giving me a kiss on my chin. My heart melted, and I am so thankful for the freely available information here.

Big thank you and may life bring you tons of bunny kisses and joy.

Wow, congratulations! And apparently “you have learned well Grasshopper!” (That was an old reference to the TV series Kung Fu with David Carradine. Not sure anyone here would get that) Anyhow very good for you to get so prepared. We went the “baptism by fire” route because we didn’t plan on getting a rabbit it just happened all of a sudden. So much freely available information here is great. BinkyBunny has some really great members too. I am glad that you and Momo are doing so well already. She already sounds like such a special little girl. May your life with her bring you tons of bunny kisses and joy as well.
