Just joined Binky Bunny and wanted to give a shout out to all the other bunny parents out there  My bunny was apparently set loose in a neighborhood and then taken in by a rescue group.  I spoke to his foster mom for over a month and finally brought him home about a month ago.  My vet estimates he’s about 9 months old and he’s quite a little rascal.  Anyway, howdy all, glad to be here!

Welcome! Little rascal is probably really fitting of a rabbit at 9mo. Wick is rascal himself, so I imagine while it may be frustrating, he must bring you lots of joy. I see you already posted a topic on the forums, so definitely do so whenever you have questions and feel free to contribute!

If you’re feeling up to it and am willing to work with a slightly difficult photo-upload system, it’d be great to see some pictures of your munchkin!

Oh, he definitely brings me LOTS of joy.  He’s very sweet and loves attention, as well as being a rascally rabbit   I chose him after losing my previous bunny, who went into kidney failure at the start of the year.  She had been my first truly loving bunny, as my previous buns were more stand offish.  So I spoke to a few rescues to try to find a similarly loving bunny and found Benny!  He is almost as loving as the previous bunny, but has a ton more energy–“vim and vinegar” as my mom used to say–and curiosity.  I’m thrilled with him so far and don’t think I could’ve gotten a better bunny  I will try to post a pic or two of him when I get to my laptop, as I don’t have many pics of him here at work.

When I took Benny to the vet this week to get his nails trimmed, I found out that since I’ve had him, he’s gained a pound! The vet said he feels awesome, so I think this is further proof that he wasn’t getting the best diet before, though he is “filling out” as teenagers will do too.
