Hello all
I’m Samantha and I share my life with many critters, including 3 buns. I’ve had Peter and Ponyo for 5 years, my mom bought them as “sisters” when they were young (not babies but not full grown), we had an accidental litter and learned that they were not sisters, and not even the same kind of rabbit. After that mishap we got Peter fixed and found the babies good homes, except for one, Baby. Baby was the only rabbit in the litter to not have a smooth coat like mom or dad, he stole my families hearts, and continues to to this day.
Peter and Ponyo are super bonded. They were bought together and have only been separated a handful of times. Baby on the other hand has been alone for a while because he has not yet been fixed.
Peter is very curious and loves digging, his specialty is finding hidden treasure at the bottom of the litter box. AKA emptying the litter box.
He likes his pellets and hay but the only green he likes is basil.
Ponyo is much less curious but I’m pretty sure she’s in charge. She likes to sit on top of things, and throw things. She has a plastic toy car she lovesss to throw and push around. Lucky for me she will eat anything I put in her bowl.
Baby is the most shy and most food driven. He is always sniffing out food and when he hears me open the pellet container he starts doing laps around his pen. He prefers soft toys to rearrange and doesn’t seem to care for plastic toys at all. He is also the only one who isn’t completely litter trained, but at this point I think he only pees outside his box when he is stressed or when he thinks its too stinky.
I haven’t yet figure out how to add pictures but when I do you all can see them and their set up.
Also a little about me, I work on a small organic farm and enjoy playing the flute and climbing in my free time when I’m not being a critter mommy. My other animals include 3 dogs (separate building than buns), 8 chickens (1 rooster + 7 hens), and 3 dexter cows. All of my pets are PETS, adored members of the family.
I’m excited to join this community and share more about my buns and I!
