Hey everyone!
LoveChacha here. It has been.. 5-6 years since I have been on here? I am not new to rabbits at all. I was owned by Koucha/Chacha, the black otter dwarf for 6 great years. She passed of sudden bloat in January 2016. I miss her a lot and still think of her constantly. A year and a half has passed and she came to me in a dream. She told me it would be okay to adopt and love again. So I did that.
It has been a journey the past 2 years. I lost my Dad to a brain aneurysm in September of last year. I moved on from a relationship and found love with someone I met in a MMORPG. He lives with me now in and he is the love of my life. I work as a OB/GYN nurse for a living — it was my passion to become a nurse because of my mom and it finally happened. We finally settled into our own apartment in March this year and adopted a 1 year old Magpie bunny from a Seattle shelter. We named him Prescott. He is the sweetest boy ever. He loves to be petted and grooms his humans in return. He is such a good boy!

O M G !!!! Im so happy to see you posting here on BB!!!
Im a bit emotional after catching up with what’s been happening in your life. Im terribly sorry about your Dad. <3 xx I know you were close and had been through a lot together. And dear Chacha, your Heart. Im sorry to hear she is now gone. Binky Free Beautiful Girl!! She will alway leave an impression on me.
You are such a strong woman. Im glad to you have new love and new BUNNY love in your life. Prescott is super cute!! That face!! Please stick around and spam us with endless photos of him.
p.s. You’ll see your Monthly Chat idea is still up and going! Im pretty sure it was you that started those.
Hey Jersey!!
Yes, I’ll indeed stick around
Chacha was loved so much. She left a big impression on my life and left me with her most important lesson at the end: Be true to yourself. I’ll never forget it!
I’ll be posting more photos of Prescott! He is currently under close watch as he gets his molar taken out in two weeks. Eek!
Oh, scary. Do you still go to Chacha’s vet or are you in different area now?
Prescotts markings make him very handsome. I don’t know if you recall, but my Potamus is a magpie harli too, tho her markings are not defined.

I have 5 buns in my life. 3 loves gone to the Bridge…
Rumball almost 11. His 2nd bunwife Ailis is a NZW and aged about 5 or 6. Potamus is 5 and her Husbun is Gooseman (blue/grey lop) who is 6 and TimTim is 6 also.
Omg, Rumball is 11?!?!? Where does time go?!
I am not too far distance wise from where I used to live. I go to one of the best in the state for rabbit care as they are open on weekends (convenient for me) and the vet has over 20+ years experience in rabbits and exotics. He is one of the best when it comes to dental work in rabbits. My bf and I travel about 40 miles to get to the vet. I changed vets as the one Chacha was seeing is not open on weekends and is hard to get into for an appointment
Sad. She is an amazing vet, but with the dental issues Prescott is having, if he needs to be squeezed in with this new vet, he can be seen.
Prescott picked us. My boyfriend saw his photo and instantly fell in love with him. Prescott is described as ‘Shy,’ at the shelter. When the lady opened his pen door, he surprised her by coming right up to my boyfriend and I. We looked at one another and thought, “He chose us as his parents.” We took him home the same day!
Hi Burichi! I wasn’t a member during your most active time here, but I do remember your beautiful Chacha bun. I’m very sorry about you father.
Hi Burichi! I certainly remember you and Chacha. She was so cute and I loved seeing the pictures you posted of her. I’m sorry about the loss of Chacha and your Dad. It’s wonderful that you have adopted a new bunny. Prescott is a very handsome boy! I’m sure that he is well loved and spoiled. As all bunnies should be.
OMG! Was Chacha the bunny with the chipmunk cheeks giving her hooman a kiss? If so, your posts on some thread (I can’t remember which) made me so excited to adopt my bun – I was reading BB in preparation for the big day.
I’m sorry to hear you had such a rough go of it, but it’s amazing how readily a rainbow appears after the storm. Glad you found your life’s passion with the love of your life and the little life you love. He’s a handsome one, your furball!

You’re new little man is just beautiful and I’m enjoying seeings his pictures on FB and hopefully the other members here will get to see lots of pics too.
You’ve certainly been through more than most people should have to endure in such a short time. You are a very strong person and I’m so glad you are now doing what you love. So wonderful when people have jobs they are passionate about. ![]()
Welcome back, Burachi!
I had heard when you lost ChaCha (on Facebook, I think) and I know how hard that must have been for you.
I am terribly sorry to hear about your Dad. I’m sure your new fella is a comfort to you now, and am glad you two are living happily with the very handsome Prescott.
He is gorgeous!
My Sammykins only lived to be 6, and passed from a GI blockage. She was my Diva.
I now have Spike, who I saw in a photo from a nearby shelter too, and went home with him the day we met. Isn’t it nice to find a snuggle bunny that way?
Post more pix, please!
Funny how we both went from Drama Rama Diva’s to super sweet snuggle boys. ![]()
Welcome back!!
I am so very sorry to hear about your father. That is a definite hard and unexpected way to lose someone.
My sincerest condolences to you.
So glad you have two wonderful guys, both human and bunny!. Prescott is stunning!
Congrats on your career. I know you were working hard on that! A wonderful achievement!
How did Prescott go with the tooth extraction? Or is that coming up soon?
