  Hey all!
  
  I was given a two month old rabbit about a month ago. He was bred for consumption purposes.
  
  Luckily for him, I get to give him a happy home.
  
  My vet wont alter him until he’s six months old… So He’ll have to wait a bit longer for that.
  
  He has testicles so I’m 99% positive it’s a him.
  
  My lovely bun is a black Giant Flemish. I adore him.
  
  When I first got him I had no idea how to care for a bunny. I’ve never been around them.
  
  I watched a series of Vet videos done by a Rabbit Vet and it offered more information and knowledge then I needed. (Thankfully)
  
  I thought I’d sign up here just in case I run into issues or need some advice.
  
  Rabbit Info:
  1. Rabbit names: Vader (Star Wars)
  2. Rabbit Age: Apx Three months.
  3. How long has your bunny been with you? Apx One month.
  4. Spayed/Neutered? Not yet .
  5. Rabbit Personality Traits: He’s introverted, calm, and loving with a side of spunk.
  6. Include a photo of your bunny if you can.

  6 months is a good age for a neuter, and it’s good you know he’s a boy because that’s not always easy to tell. Many a bunny has gone to the vet a girl or a boy for a spay/neuter and come back home needing a new name =)
  
  The rabbit vet is very good! There’s also a lovely Howcast You Tube series with Mary E Cotter adressing lots of problems a bunny-owner might encounter f ex how to massage a bunny tum, how to take a bunny’s temperature etc:

  Hi BO ! Ohhhh he’s gorgeous – he looks like my Zou, only if everything goes to plan your’s will be BIGGER !! LOL
  
  My breeder (Vienna Blue) had a black boy (Zou’s uncle) when I went to pick mine up and she called him DARK (as in DARK Vader in French, they can’t say the “TTHHHttthhhhhh”) !!
  
  Please keep us update on progress (not just on if you have a problem or need advice) and photos ALWAYS make our day !

  Oh my goodness, Vader is just adorable! I’m so glad you rescued him from someone’s dinner plate. Flemmies are a breed I definitely want to own at some point, and he is just lovely. Let’s just hope he doesn’t turn out like his namesake
