HI All,

I have decided to plunge into the world of living with a rabbit, as if my 4 cats and 6 chickens wasn’t enough! I love animals and have always wanted to have a bun. I got my opportunity this week when a local mini-lop breeder had reservation fall though. I went to meet the 2 month old kit yesterday – he certainly seems like a friendly guy and was surprising beautiful as I was expecting the silvery grey chinchilla color to be rather drab. As I need to build the condo today and buy supplies I’m not taking him home until tomorrow. So excited!

I have been reading information here voraciously as it’s so important to be prepared for pet ownership. I don’t have a name picked out yet but the little mister is definitely getting neutered when time comes around. There are so many health and behavioral benefits that come with the surgery it’s definitely worth the price.

Only have one picture as I was too busy petting and talking with the breeder, but I’m sure there will be more soon!
