Lilly is Hiding!
Here are all of us from Palm Coast,Fl. There are 7 wonderful buns in my home that love each other very much. There was an accident when I adopted Hippity from the humane society and all but one of them are family. When Hippity had her litter we decided to keep them and give them a fulfilling, proper life. I could not imagine my life without my babies. Mommy is Hippity-Hop an abused but now rescued harlequin Dutch, Daddy is Tweak a cinnamon, and they have Lilly (thought he was a girl but turned out to be a boy and knows his name), Dutchy (girl), Baby Tweak (replica of her father), and Stubby Bear Princess (she only has three legs). Then one day we saw Oliver (blue Dutch) and couldn’t leave without him. He kept looking in my eyes with such love I took him home. Turns out when we went to get him neutered he had rabbit syphilis from a poor breeding practices/sanitation. He was only a little baby. I felt so bad but so thankful I had taken him home because I have a very savvy rabbit vet and most rabbit pet owners do not give rabbits proper care due to ignorance, they are simply unaware. I believe if someone else would have adopted Oliver he would have been in pain most of his life because they would have been unaware of his medical condition. I treated him with penicillin shots for a week. I am diabetic so the vet felt comfortable having me administer the shot daily. It was TOO LATE, the syphilis had spread to most of my other 6 bunnies and I wound up having to treat them with penicillin shots as well. Now we are all fine, spayed/neutered, and binky around our patio with our other sister Nala-Skai the Shiba Inu and our human mom and dad.
