Are you ready????

Everybody say hi to Oliver!!!! We just adopted him last night from our local shelter that is sadly not very equipped or knowledgeable about bunnies. They don’t get tons of them in but maybe 6 a year. This year they have already gotten in 12!!!! That’s right 12. We went in and adopted our youngest cat a month ago and my husband fell in love with one of the bunnies they were calling Lebun James but we already had 2 and a new cat to bond with  our resident cat that had never been around another cat. We didn’t want to add bonding 3 bunnies to the mix. Fast forward a month, I see on facebook that my husbands bunny friend is their pet of the day and his adoption fee is waived. Well, I am sad/happy to say that we have a new bunny and I can’t even blame my husband this time! He is adorable and super friendly. He wasn’t even nervous. We brought him home and let him run around the kitchen and dining room (he isn’t neutered yet and has some litter box training to do so the living room carpet is a no go for now). He isn’t afraid of the slippery floor. He ran around like he owned the place immediately. It only took a half an hour before we got our first binky and many more quickly followed! After an hour of binkies and running around chasing one of the cats, we got our first flop. The poor guy is 6 months old and had never been out of what the pet stores here in the USA like to call a “large” rabbit cage. Which we know isn’t large at all. Well, he won’t have to worry about a cage ever again!
