Hi,
I have 4 bunnies, Morgana and Avalon (fixed, mother and son), and Guinevere and Lancelot (fixed, working on bonding). Guin is a 7lb white california and was first bonded with Merlin, a 7lb red newzealand, who I lost to EC and flies. It was a very sad experience. Guin is spunky but moody. Lancelot is super super sweet. He buzzes when I come into the room. He is a 5lb lop who I adopted. His previous diet was mostly candy, so he ended up a very sick rabbit. He had an eye ulcer, dehydration, and had some dental work done while at the SPCA. He has plenty of scars and notches on his ears. Not sure how that happened. But he is settled in nicely. Morgana is a black california/rex mix. She sheds black and dark brown. She was very skittish when I first brought her home, and she only started to allow me to pet her once she was bonded with Avalon (son of Morgana and Merlin), and saw him let me pet him. I had them separated once he matured, so it was like bonding to unknown rabbits. I was surprised how quickly rabbits can unbond. Guin attacked one of her babies after being separated for a week. But they are all fixed now. Morgana and Avalon live outside in a 4×8 double story shed with a porch, and a 48ft perimeter grass run. Guin and Lancelot live inside, in a bedroom divided in two. Guin shares the side with the cat window, that my 13yr old cat has access to. I also have 2 border collies, a fish tank, and a 240 square foot outdoor planted community aviary with a variety of finches, quail, mousebirds, and bourke parakeets.
I’m still working on photos… technology… hmmm… The pics are so large… I need to figure out how to get them small so I can post them.
