Hi,
I am a new bunny owner, my Bunny Molly is only 2 ½ -3 months old and has been with me since June 30th she is my first bunny ever and I am smitten! She isn’t spayed yet, but when she is old enough she will be going to the vets to get it done. She is a California Rabbit and became mine when a young fellow at the school I worked at brought her in and informed me “he or she would be eaten” (they own a butcher shop), it was pretty much over the minute I held her, I knew she was going to be my somebunny. I’m hooked for life now!
Our current cage set up is NOT ideal and when I return to work in September I will be building her a proper castle that she can run and bounce around in proper. I feel like such a awful bun mom for not knowing the cage I bought (just a pet shop one) wouldn’t be big enough. She isn’t free range, but eventually have half a room fenced off to run and hop. Molly gets LOTS of time outside her cage though and is spoiled rotten.
My grandmother named her Molly and is completely smitten with her and checks on her every morning and night. It’s quite cute! And has made a huge difference in my Grams life (she is 86 years old).
I am a competitive special olympic figure skater (currently holding gold medals provincially and ranked 8 in all of Canada). I live on a 8 acre hobby farm and also have a pony, ragdoll cat named Oscar the grouch, and a very excitable dog named Abby.
