Hey Everyone!
Hi, my name is Gillian. I joined about 2 weeks ago but have been so engrossed in bonding my buns I didn’t notice this welcome section! I have 2 buns, Alfie and Lily.
Alfie will be 1 yr old as of this Tuesday (Nov 11th) and I have had him since boxing day of last year. He was the result of my friends 2 unaltered buns getting out. His mom is a broken coloured holland lop and the dad is a brown dwarf. So he took his colouring from his mom and his body from his daddy hehe.
Lily was a rescue I adopted a couple months back from the local shelter. Her forms state she is a 2.5 yr old New Zealand but she is only 3.5lbs so she is definitely a mix. She is a gorgeous REW and the sweetest little girl who loves her pets and food! It took her till recently to be comfortable enough with me to hop on my lap for pets, something that Alfie doesn’t even do.
We are just in the last stages of bonding, we had some trouble with me rushing them so had to go back to square one but after 48 hours of marathon bonding they are in an x-pen a couple feet from their future home and nearly bonded! Just need to see some more cuddling out of them.

Lilly looks and sounds similar to my REW Moshu. They indeed are very mild and affectionate. Alfie is such an interesting mix. Only a few days back I was wondering that Dwarf and Lop would make such a lovely mix. I hope they become the best of friends

Thank you Avantika! For some reason I always called Alfie, Bubba so now with Lily they are my BubbaBunnies hehe. She does! Ya Alfies litter was very different looking too, half were small with small ears like Alfie and the other were bigger with larger ears that almost flopped, adorable! Ya they are quite smitten with each other, Lily just learned that she can go on my bed and they both do their morning binkies and zooms on it now so no more sleeping in for me i guess
