Reggie (Reginald)  is a Flemish Giant (and hes growing quickly!)

Hes a Valentines Day birthday baby bunny and is currently about 5 months old and weighing in at 12 pounds. 

His mother was a fawn and this father all black. So Reggie is black with a brown undercoat coming out in spots, almost like highlights. 

Unfortunately he is not a pick me up bunny. Regardless of how much I’ve worked with him on it, hes more content to just snuggles on the floor. Several years ago I was a foster mom for abandoned rabbits. I had a lot of loves back then. After losing my feline son of 9 years to a brain aneurysm, I thought maybe I would try my hand at bunnys again. Reggie sure has given me a run for my money. 

From Reggie:

I have a tendency to sleep on my side or back, which the first time scared mommy to death, and in turn also me, because she snatched me off the floor in a panic. Mommy loves books, and I do too! Though I never understand why she just looks at them and not munches on them! They taste great!  I love the antique fireplace and the large marble hearthstone, its cool and mommys craft table over it leaves a great hide spot. 

My favorite snuggle spot is my past brothers scratching post. I never got to meet my kitty brother, but I’ve enjoyed many of his toys.As of now though, I have seemed to over fill this snuggle spot, but I manage to muffin myself in there anyways.

I loves to climb and heights. Mom had to rig up cardboad and steps for me to climb up on my cage to look out. Past times consist of fighting off the evil blanket that hangs over the back of mommy’s office chair, helping during crafting time, and jumping out from behind the curtains and scaring the living hay out of mommy. 
 

Mommy looks at this site a lot (I know because I read over her shoulder while up on my cage) and she figured maybe instead of reading all the time, it would be fun to join and talk to others with bunnys like me!
