Hi everyone, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted here. After I lost Smudge a few years ago I came back periodically just to get my cute bunny pictures fix but now after much needed time and some settling down (we moved a couple months ago and got married on the 12th!)I can happily introduce my new bun Harry .
He is 4 months old, and got his name because of his little ‘lightening shaped’ mark on his forehead. Harry has had a little bit of a rough start, he was being housed at his previous home in a small cage with guinea pigs and a fight occurred. Harry was injured losing a large chunk of fur on his nose, we’re not sure if it will come back in but I don’t mind I think it gives him character (thankfully the pigs were uninjured). He was also being fed incorrectly and had no hay or veggies in his diet. I think the family meant well but were unprepared for the responsibility of a bun. They were struggling to re-home him due to him being past the ‘baby’ stage, being black, and his injury. I fell in love at first sight and the husband agreed that we could give him a great life. He just came home this afternoon and is adjusting well to his new Nic cube condo. He is quite happy to sit on a lap and munch some hay and has already been tooth purring and had his first flop! I’m really looking forward to raising him and will be taking him for his first check up and neuter consult in the near future .

Of course I know better than to show up without pictures (hopefully they work, I’ve never uploaded from a tablet before). I didn’t want to overwhelm him on his first night so I only snapped a few, he was quite curious about the phone and kept nose bumping me/it.
