  Hi all! My name is Nora, and I recently adopted an adorable little lop mix from the local shelter. His name is Pippin and he is just about the cutest thing I ever did see.
  
  I have had bunnies before, 2 adorable but mischievous girls, but unfortunately when I got divorced I could not take them since I was in the Navy at the time. My ex-h gave them away. I have been wanting to have more bunnies ever since, so when I finally got out of the Navy in May, I was ready!
  
  Pippin has just been the sweetest thing. No cords chewed, no baseboards gnaws, no carpet pulled up. He’s only even thumped a couple of times! I was not expecting that after having such troublesome (but lovable) buns before, so it has been very nice. I am not working right now so I have had plenty of time to hang out with him (and take about a thousand pictures).
  
  I find myself googling different things and ending up at this forum all the time, so I thought I might as well join up!

  Hi Nora and welcome! I replied to your other forum – but I have to say it again, ‘watch out for chewing’!!!! LOL!
  So pleased you decided to join us here at BB, I couldn’t think of a better place to hang out either. Make sure you read and join in all the forum’s, we can be lots of fun too. Your Pippin looks adorable in your avatar, but you NEED to post more picture’s of him. LEL is a forum leader and she said! Ha ha ha ha….. Cheers Nora.

  By the way, sorry Nora – when I started my post (above) you hadn’t put your picture’s up yet (I gotta stop starting a post, getting up to do something before I finish writing and submitting) ha ha ha. Your Pippin is adorable! That last picture of Pippin in the cage just made my heart melt……

  That’s his favorite pose. Sometimes he puts his head all the way on the ground which makes him look like the most depressed bikini model ever! He’ll flop onto his side from there, but usually only for a second and then it’s back up to the half-flop. Although earlier I saw him actually go through side-flop to back-flop and back up the other direction in a full 360 roll! I laughed so loud I scared him even though I was a room away.

  lolol! Did he do the lil feet wiggle as he rolled over?? Bumpy does that too on rare occasions. Last night he did it in his dinner plate, I thought I would die laughing. I think I would need to make my camera a permanent fixture in my hand to ever catch that action!

  Yes! And his ears were flopping all over! It was so cute.
  
  I do really wish I just had a permanent camera to capture some of this bunny’s ridiculousness. Today he jumped onto a pillow that was on top of an open container—the pillow sank in, and he got squished into the corner and freaked out before jumping clear. And then he jumped on the side table but when he tried to jump off one of his feet was on a coaster. The coaster went FLYING the other direction and it quite messed up his jump. I had to give him a nice nose rub after that one because I felt bad for laughing so much.

  When ever we give Henry a ‘new’ box, we always place it upside down (open end on the bottom) for him to jump on top. Once I sat a box (open side UP) next to the bin for additional Xmas rubbish and boy did Henry get a fright when he went to jump ‘on top’ and ended up IN the box! HA HA HA!
  Still one of my funniest favourite Henry memories! (Does that make me a bad bunny mummy???). Who cares – it was SOOOO funny! ha ha ha….
