Hello! I’m Lacee, I’m 27 and a soon to be new rabbit slave. Lol. I live in a teensy tiny town in New Mexico, I’m a nursing student and mother. After about 6 months of research I’ve made the plunge to adopt a standard Rex from the local shelter.  The mother was surrendered along with her companion because the owners had to move. They didn’t know she was pregnant at the time because they had assumed they  were both females OOPS!) My bunny won’t be ready until the 1st (the babies are only 6 weeks old right now and my little black bun already dubbed Shadow is going to be one spoiled little bun) I have everything I need lol except a habitat (cages here are soooo small and no NIC cubes around and too pricey for our budget) but we are looking at building our own indoor condo somehow. (I wanna spoil Shadow with a multi level habitat.) Basically all I have on hand on wooden crafting dowels and galvanized wire rabbit fencing to build a cage with…the dowels are untreated I checked. So the boyfriend and I are trying to figure out how to build a dream bunny condo with that. But that’s a problem I’ll post later in the habitat forum. Well I’ve been trolling you guys for a while glad to join in and learn some more. Learned most of my info from you guys already
