Ok so my husband gave in and we are getting a third bun. About 4 months ago I saw this really cute VM dutch mix baby bunny that one of my facebook friends posted. She said he wasn’t for sale. I commented that I loved and wanted him and she messaged me saying that knowing the kind of owner I am she would be willing to give Bam to ONLY me, other then that, she was going to keep him. I told her to let me talk to my husband about it. Well my husband wasn’t keen on the idea just yet about a third bun. So I told her I couldn’t. Which wasn’t a big deal because I was fb friends with her and would see pictures of the bunny growing up. WELLLL I messaged her one day asking about Bam, how he was doing because I hadn’t seen any pics lately. She goes, “Oh, the pet store said he found a lovely home” I was so upset that she dropped this bun off at a pet store! I was so devastated not knowing what could happen to him. Over the past three months my husband finally decided to get a third bun. ( A LITTLE LATE!) so I have been looking around bunny after bunny but they never really reached out to me like Bam did. I still kept thinking about him and curious on how he was. He just couldn’t get out of my head! Then today I saw his picture on a rabbit rehoming site. I couldn’t believe it! I messaged her asking her where and when she got him. I showed her his baby picture and it IS Bam! It was like fate!

btw, I need names! I don’t like the obvious pet names. I like them to sound I guess “normal” If you notice my other pets names are Sally, Harley, Abbie, and Brevin lol no odd names like Cadbury or snowflake :p

Yeah unfortunately all 4 of her gals are pregnant. She was so upset that he turned out a boy because she thought he was pretty. But I’m so happy to see him again! I never thought I would see him again. He’s going to get neutered in a week or two. I’m so nervous about bonding. Sally and Harley were a breeze. They were love at first sight. Just hope that’s how it goes for this fella
Oliver and Benny sound cute so far. Hamish is different. I’m drawn to unique names too. I like Finn for some reason. But maybe that’s because I’ve been on a Glee marathon lol! I’m hoping when I get him home tomorrow the name will just reach out and slap me in the face! :p I’m terrible at naming lol

He’s home and has already settled himself in
He’s so cute and I love him already. I still need help. THe names just didn’t stick out for him. I’ll tell you a little about him. I don’t know much. One, hes small. Like really small lol he’s a very curious bunny and brave. Not afraid of the dogs. Was actually intrigued and came up to the gate to say hello. Harley tried to murder him and even then The Bun was so curious and seemed unaware of the danger. He flops alot. Practically anytime he goes to lay down…its an all out flop lol He’s prissy. Constantly cleaning himself. And he’s fast! .JPG)

He was at the gate where the buns room is blocked off. Harley didn’t growl or lunge! But he could definitely smell him. but I was relieved to see him not get desperate to like KILL him like he was last night. You can see Harley’s shadow on the other side .JPG)

He’s doing great with the litter box! He still poop marks but that’s to be expected. He wants his cage to smell more like him. He’s getting neutered this coming Tuesday. But he has yet to pee outside of his litter box He didn’t appreciate me invading his privacy lol -
Ok, I know you said you were going to stick with Bam, but…. One of may favorite all time books is The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. It is about a china bunny doll who gets taken from his little girl, goes through all these trials and tribulations over the course of his life, and finds himself back with her and her daughter as an adult when he is purchased at a doll shop some 20 odd years later. It just reminds me of Bam’s story. He found his way back to you almost miraculously really! Plus, Edward is so dignified. And, his character in the book is also very dignified. Through all his travels he learns to love others and those that care for him. (part of his miracle)

such a beautiful journey with a perfect ending! I’m so pleased it all worked out for you NBO123. Little Handsome boy looks awfully happy with his new family. Bam is a cute name though! That story that Kbana mentioned is very cool tho too! Names are so hard to decide sometimes.
