  Only just ‘rescued’ my bunny from my stepson who just had it in a regular cage. They have a dog so it never came out really. We have built an enclosure in our house and we are introducing it to the house gradualy.
  
  I am saying ‘it’ because we do not know but we are taking it to a knowledgable pet shop this weekend and they should be able to tell us.

  Hi Judith – welcome to the forum. We are definitely an active forum and feel free to post to the appropriate section. If you don’t get a response right away you just have to realize that we have members from around the world and it can take awhile for a response. It sounds like your new rabbit is in a much better situation too.
