Hello!

Me and Lucky are new here. I was searching for a place where people had the same love for buns as me

His name is Lucky (they were calling him Luke at the foster house, they got him at six months old, and I adopted and took him home when he was 8 months old…had to be neutered. so..we called him Lucky Luke but he responds great to just Lucky now.)

He is a beautiful silver color. I searched dutch rabbit breeds and apparently calling him grey would be incorrect because he has no brown at all, just a silver gray color and the trademark white pattern.His ears seems to be much larger than other Dutch rabbits…they’re huge on his head! Everyone always comments on them. I thought he’d grow into them since he’s young but they are still quite large.

He is extremely friendly, he was shy the first day but his personality is definitely: friendly, social, affectionate, easy going. I have two children, they are 6 & 3 and can get quite rowdy. None of this bothers Lucky! He rarely, if ever, goes into his carrier/bed which is in his set up (he has the litter box, carrier, food & water, and toys all inside a large exercise pen.)

He is so affectionate, I’m just shocked! In the mornings, the kids let him out of his pen and he comes and jumps up into my bed to lick me all over and play. He also does this at night, or binkies around like a maniac.

I have bought toys, but nothing really does it for him. He likes chewing on cardboard boxes, and sometimes he likes wooden toys to chew on but he seems to mainly like when I toss a towel over his head and pull it away he jumps all over the place when we play like that.
