Hi everyone,
My name is Natalie and I have two beautiful baby Netherland Dwarf albino bunnies called Jammie & Dodger <SPAN style="WIDTH: 20px; HEIGHT: 20px; CURSOR: hand" class=afEmot onclick="amaf_insertHTML('<img src=\'/DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/BB_Theme/emoticons/smile.gif\' />')" checkedByCssHelper="true" unselectable="on"><IMG title=<img src='/DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/BB_Theme/emoticons/smile.gif' align="absmiddle" border="0" /> onmousedown="return false;" src="http://www.binkybunny.com/DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/BB_Theme/emoticons/smile.gif" width=20 height=20 checkedByCssHelper="true"></SPAN></P>
They are currently living in the outdoor hutch but when the weather gets a bit too chilly they will be living in the indoor hutch. The hot water bottle from Pets at Home is working a treat while they are outside and helps to take the edge off if its a bit too cold.
Dodger is a real character and binkys constantly around the living room when he ventures in! He is a real sweety and comes to the edge of his hutch to greet me every morning when I unzip and lift up their cover. He enjoys getting his head and cheeks stroked and falls asleep almost instantly when he is on my lap for a cuddle!
Jammie is a very well manned bunnie and binkys in a very lady like fashion! When we first got Jammie from the breeder she didn’t really like being stroked, handled or approached (strange as the breeder ensured all bunnies were handled carefully from birth). Now she is coming around and will stretch out and roll about on my lap and doesnt struggle when being handled anymore which is fantastic.
Their favourite food is kale and I recently bought marigold and dandelion hay which they seem to love – petsupermarket. They also love new healthy nuggets that I bought from my local pet shop which helps their digestive system and somehow also says will neutralise their wee and poo so that it doesn’t smell bad? Not sure how convinced I am about that but the vet assured me that the nuggets are safe and they seem to enjoy them
.
As they are still babies I am slowly introducing greens in to their meal plan so tonight it will be basil! I have heard this is a brilliant herb for bunnies so I hope they like it!
Looking forward to being involved in the forum!
Natalie
