Hello everyone!
After trying to decide on an animal to become my companion pet, as to help with anxiety etc. I spent 6 months researching about rabbits and fell in love with them. I went to my local SPCA October 3, 2012 just to peek around at the two bunnies I had in mind, and when I got there Pongo (the shelter named him “Floyd”) was let out to exercise and I immediately asked if I can sit in his space with him. I wasn’t expecting to adopt him that day, I would get the supplies and everything I needed to set up before I adopted, but as I was hanging out with him, a woman called the shelter looking for a lop eared rabbit (Pongo was the only one) and I just couldn’t let him go.
He is the best friend and companion I’ve ever had. I love all of his little quirks (like how his one ear always sticks up while the other is lopped), he’s got an amazing goofy personality, and he’s so loving.
When I adopted him, the shelter said he was a purebred mini lop, but I’m sure that all of you can tell that that holds no truth. He’s neutered, potty trained (was surprisingly potty trained when I adopted him), and he will be almost 2 years old this coming late September-early October.
