Hi all.
I have a 4 year old neutered holland lop name Milo. He is sweet, naughty, smart, and loves to be petted. He doesn’t have much of a sassy attitude or anything. I’ve had milo since he’s been 8 or 9 weeks old.
I’m his mom and I’m a huge animal nut/lover/person. Milo is the only rabbit, but he’s not truly alone for he has 13 small parrots to keep him occupied. Milo is my first rabbit. I finally got him fixed this past May. He never had a spraying issue, a digging issue, or anything like that. He’s always been a very good boy. Let’s just say that I have noticed since his operation, he’s been digging non stop and chewing the carpet, which he has never done before. it’s like getting fixed gave him energy or something (if anyone has any digging or chewing tips, please let me know! Four years with him and it’s never been an issue til he got neutered).
the reason i got him fixed was so that i could take him to the local humane society for Hoppy Hour. We’ve only gone twice, but i think the more we go, the more he will get used to it. Last time we went, he started to enjoy himself towards the last 2 minutes.
But he plays nice with the other buns, is pretty mellow and gets along well with others (whew!). He’s friendly when other rabbits approach him and lets them groom him. Oh yeah, Hoppy Hour is a one or two hour event depending on which humane society you go to. So you bring your fixed rabbit there for them to socialize with other rabbits. believe me, tons of rabbits go and it’s just an hour of pure cuteness!
