  A friend of ours today called us to tell us that they had been given a bunny who was in bad condition and didn’t know what to do. We went over as soon as we can and rescued this beautiful little bunny. He is about 2 years old. He is so loving and is starving for attention. he was already licking our faces and when we let him play in the living room he was zooming about and binkying, probably for the first time in his life. He still needs more care, tomorrow he is going in to get his teeth trimmed since he can’t close his mouth correctly. we trimmed his overgrown nails, and gave him a bath to help get out the urine stains on his bottom. He also was never fed hay, but went strait to it in his new home. we are planing to bond him with with peanut or Chipmunk after he gets neutered. I can’t understand how people can let an animal get like this, even if you didn’t know how to take care of him. He is nervous around noises, probably from being kept in a garage. he also has a possible eye infection.
  
  Sorry that was so long, anyway we are looking for some name ideas since he was called Daisy by the orginal owner who didn’t even know he was a boy! here are some pics that we took of him.
  
  He feel asleep getting pet on the way home
  
  He Loves kisses and attention, but we think he may have an eye infection
  
  His teeth are overgrown and can’t close his mouth correctly

  Urine stains skin isn’t infected though thatnk god
  
  HIs temporary Condo until he is fixed and bonded
  
  He was really good taking his bath, and didn’t struggle. we hope that his fur recovers quickly.
  
  He is in a safe loving home now, and yes we are up to 10. if this keeps up I am going to have to open our own shelter LOL

  Cool! Time to update you signature! Ten must be really expensive. I probably couldn’t afford to keep more than 4 in a good environment, where they can be fed pellets, hay, and veggies, have good vet care, and be in a large enough cage.

  I just adore Mini-Rex’s. They have such wonderful personalities and I know of a lot of them who give kisses and are super bonded to their humans. My Stormy was.

  Update: he has an eye infection and we have to put ointment in it 3-4 times a day. his teeth were filed down and he can close his mouth good now. and here are two more pictures of him.
  
  Here he was patiently waiting and watching me build his condo.
  
  He is now pouting in his condo after going to the vet. he muched on a piece of apple that we gave him to say sorry, and is now sleeping.

  OH and the vet and I figured that he got the infection from having the long nails and feces on them and scratching at his eye.

  And he loves to CLIMB EVERYTHING lol he seems to have no fear.
  
  Stormy was the same way. A total daredevil. He would climb on and hop over things the other buns would not. And he was the only bun to tackle the stairs. In fact, he LOVED the stairs and would zoom up and down them when I let him. I wonder if that is a characteristic of Mini-Rexs. They sure are wonderful.

  So awesome! We have a mini Rex and she is the BOMB. So outgoing and funny. She’s easy to hold and snuggle. Super curious, terrible cute! We have fostered a regular rex too and he was so much like her. If he was her partner we’d have been in so much trouble. They are very energetic. Enjoy! We love our mini rex.

  all my Rexs are so HIGH ENERGY too! they are like the energizer bunny LOL. we gave Gizmo(the new buns name) a stuffie and he is already molesting it LOL. After his infections are gone he will be on his way to get neutered.
