Thanks!
and they are quite amazing! i wasn’t going to get flemish giants actually .i was going to go with a smaller breed until ,my outdoor cat decides to go on a ‘hunting adventure’ and brought home a pretty big rabbit(we were shocked)! not dead but badly hurt and it was so late at night we could not bring the little guy to see a vet so we tried to make him as comfortable as possible. the poor thing was bleeding. we gave him some fresh vegies & water he ate and seemed to be doing fine… then all of a sudden passed away.
so i knew if i was going to get a rabbit they would have to be really big so my cat wouldnt see it as prey. its funny because now my cat loves the bunnies he plays with them lets them cuddle him, and if anything my bunnys attack him haha they have out grown him by a long shot…. well atleast darla has.
but the whole seperating thing is most definitely necessary at this point! bentley has started to spray ( and is getting neutered in 2 weeks) . and i have to bring darla to the vet im kinda worried thats shes expecting! shes been digging like a mad bunny in her cage at night but no signs of fur being pulled out and for the past few weeks shes been grunting at bentley but only when he comes near her cage, they still get along okay though during supervised play time together. yet the breeder told me she isn’t ready for babies and won’t be for a while….. he was so wrong!
and if i can i will upload some pictures i tried earlier and it didnt go as planned
