Hello! I’ve been lurking this site for quite awhile and finally decided to make an account.

My name is Emma, I’ve had my rabbit since July 3rd of 2011. He is the love of my life and I have had to admit that I’ve become a bit of a crazy bunny lady. This is my first rabbit though and despite all my research there’s still so much I don’t know, so here I am to ask questions, read about other rabbit slaves and their furry companions, and enjoy all these adorable photos. 

I have to say though, my main reason for coming on here is because I intend to adopt a friend for Cid (he’s being neutered soon) and I would like to figure out as much about bonding as I possibly can. I’m also hoping you guys can assist me in my C&C Cage construction within the next week.

Now to the fun stuff!   

I have a 1 year, 10 month old rabbit named Cid.

He’s a lionhead, but other than a very impressive mohawk and some extra fur he’s not that fuzzy. He’s a very relaxed bun and loves nothing more than lounging underneath my bed. He doesn’t like carrots, though he will happily eat the greens off of them. Kale is his favorite and he often seems very annoyed that I don’t give it to him regularly. 

His best friend (other than myself of course ) is my cockateil, either of them will get upset when they don’t share a room. It’s a very funny relationship, I even had to clear the storage shelf under the bird cage and replace it with a blanket because Cid was always up there.
