Hello! I’m Patti and I am a mom to four children – 17, 14 and 10 year old twins! We have a jack russel named Shreddie, 2 cats named Spooky and Mini, 2 rabbits named Ozzy and Sharon…and my husband thinks we have enough animals! hahaha
Ozzy is a 2 year old LionHead and Sharon is a 5 year old American Cross.
We live on Vancouver Island, BC Canada. We just got our rabbits 4 days ago from an extremely nice lady who was moving and couldn’t take them with her.
We have had 2 bunnies before. Blaze was a dwarf of some sort and he came with his bunny friend Jack (who we found out a few weeks later, was actually pregnant Jackie!) Jackie’s babies didn’t survive and she sadly passed away shortly afterwards
Blaze lived another 7 years and was the boss of the house
So now we have started the whole bunny cuddles again but this time made sure the bunnies were spayed and neutered before we took them home!
Our buns live in a huge 5 foot tall bird cage remodeled into a bunny paradise. Since Ozzy doesn’t understand the whole “You are fixed, stop trying to hump Sharon!” thing, he is on the bottom half and Sharon is on the top half.
Ozzy likes to hop everywhere, get under chairs, get behind doors/couches/shelves ect.I’d say he is curious but that doesn’t seem to even begin to cover his personality! He is not a big fan of being carried around. He is feisty and loves to jump up beside you on the couch and then jump down and then jump up, then jump down…up, down, up, down…you get the picture
Sharon loves cuddles and is not very curious. She loves to be held and petted and carried everywhere! When you put her on the floor to run around, it’s not long before she is up sitting on your lap! She is a great friend for our ten year old son who is very high energy! He stops for his cuddles and they lay on the floor together watching tv.
Ok well that’s my introduction. Sorry for the length but I am a writer and we are quite long winded most times
