  I am a 20 year old college student and a proud new bunny mommy!
  
  After months of researching bunny car (stalking this forum!) my boyfriend (who is well meaning but clueless when it comes to rabbits) got tired of listening to me obsess over bunnies and recite bunny facts and surprised me with two baby mini lops! They are black and white (Lola) and gray and white (Bella) I will attempt to post pics! He was told by the pet store that they were 6 weeks but Lola is noticably bigger than Bella.
  
  At their first checkup the vet said she thought Bella may either just be the runt of the liter or they may have come from different liters and Bella is just in fact younger than Lola.
  
  At any rate I’ve had them for about a month now and they have just stolen my heart! I am 100% their slave and I think they know it!
  
  So far Lola is definitely the more outgoing of the two. They have a loft in their cage which she likes to jump up to and has figured out how to jump on the couch/back of the couch all by herself (things Bella hasn’t figured out yet). If I lay on the floor with them Lola will hop up and sit in front of me practically demanding pets and kisses. Bella will tolerate my affections but won’t stay for long before she wants to go play/explore. They are both binky/bunny 500 queens!

  I know what you mean about stalking the BB forums. I did the same thing, but I was fortunate enough to have my sister (bunny veteran) to go to with questions. It really helps. Don’t hesitate to ask anything! These people know it all!
  
  Get used to being a slave! I also can’t wait to see some pictures. They sound really cute.

  Welcome! Mini lop babies are the cutest, I can’t wait to see pictures! About the age thing, I’ve found that pet stores will sometimes lie about the age of an animal because the younger the animal is, the better chance they have of selling it. But anyways, welcome to BB!

  Here are some pictures of my babies. Lola is black and white, Bella is grey and white. For the past month or so that I’ve had them they have been buddies and cuddle up like in the picture but as of yesterday they have started fighting . But I will post about that under the behavior section. Thanks for all the welcomes guys!

  You’re going to have your hands full when puberty sets in Just remember how darn cute they are! I hope they won’t give you too much trouble when it comes to bonding them. (well re-bonding if you have them spayed- you’ll hear that a lot that its recommended to have them spayed or else it wouldn’t be a “true” bond.)
