There have been server issues on the forum recently, and these are not usually noticed until AFTER you type out a big, detailed reply to a thread. When you try to send the reply, suddenly the server is down and everything you just typed is LOST!
What I have been doing as of late, after I finish typing a reply, but before hitting “Submit”, I will “Select” all the text (highlight using your mouse or directional pad), and then I “Copy” it. Only then do I submit the post. This way your response is saved, and can be re-posted after the server is back up, usually within a few minutes.
Posts will also sometimes be LOST if two people are replying at the same time (using the “Quick Reply” box at the bottom of the page), so I generally try to always select/copy my replies before posting, just in case.
We appreciate all of the great input/advice from our knowledgeable and dedicated members. I know the forum leaders have had posts lost recently, so just wanted to offer a helpful suggestion for everyone else!
