Hi!  After creeping for some time, I thought it best to join and introduce myself, seeing that this forum has been a saving grace !!!!

I have 2 buns, Frannie, a 13 month old French Lop who I rescued from a shelter (spayed,  potty trained, runs around the house, and VERY spoiled, but will NOT let me pick her up or trim her nails – ( YET  – sweet rabbit who loves her treats and will sit on my lap for a short time, but I have only had her since November , so 2 months is not very long in my opinion. 

My second rabbit I have only had for a few weeks, Waffles, 3 year old – I have no idea what breed, they said mixed breed ( maybe you can help me with that ) - rescued from a local shelter – she is NOT spayed….and wow, can I tell the difference between the two.   Waffles urine smells very strong where Frannies does not. 

Frannie seems to like Waffles and will sleep next to her cage, but when trying to introduce them, no such luck……Frannie gets agressive.  So I will wait until after Waffles is spayed to try again.  When I let Waffles out all she does is poop and pee – ( assuming marking territory ?) so unfortunetly Waffles doesn’t get out as much as I would like.   

Never thought I would love my buns as much as I do – even with Frannie not letting me hold her, but I sure do !!!!
