Hi everyone!
Well, I came to this forum because I was having bonding trouble with my my bun, who recently lost his lady love. We’ve since tried a different matchup, and things seem to be going well! Our bunny of 4 years is named Zo, who came to us because my roommate in college wanted a cute adorable bunny. So, we got one. He then became a cute, adorable ball of destruction and she decided she hated him and wanted nothing to do with him, so the rabbit and I took up residence on my sister’s couch until we could find a pet-friendly apartment and I’ve never looked back. Zo is a mini lop, who loves to be petted, climbing on anything, and pulling things down from the coffee table on the off chance that they might be delicious. He was fixed a few months after we got him, which ended the circling but not the love of affection. He was bonded to a mutt of a rescue rabbit who we have since lost. Zo was lost and confused without his lady love, and became lethargic and uninterested in his food so we decided another rabbit would be a good idea. As of last Friday, we have a new bun, who is approximately a year and a half and probably a satin mix. She’s a big girl at 10.5 lbs and has so far proven to be the bomb-proof bun with no fear of the vacuum, the car, our not-entirely-friendly rabbit, the cat, or anything else that I can find. She loves to be pet and will settle right down for a good head rubbing, despite the fact that we’ve only had her for a few days. Her name from the shelter is Cadence, but we’d like to change it. I’m thinking right now perhaps Josefina Binx, but that’s a lot of name for a rabbit. Any suggestions would be great!
