Hello!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted (I was the one who had a couple bunnies who passed from the same breeder), but I thought it was time I came back. I adopted Squirrel a few months ago. She is a wonderful bunny! I whole 11 pounds and appears to be part flemish. Whatever she is, I think she is gorgous!
Of course, when I adopted her they thought she was a he. The place I adopted her from doesn’t spay/neuter bunnies. They don’t get them in often and seem to be like most people here and don’t think it is necessary. She fooled my very good rabbit vet the first time too!
She has been fixed now for a couple months and I’m wanting to bond her with my other rabbit, Bear. I’m a bit worried about that because once we got her home Bear didn’t seem so happy about her being around. Bear even managed to bite Squirrel’s lip from under a door once
. I did one bonding session today – I think I’ll add a bonding journal on here. Here is a picture of Squirrel taking a nap in the bed. It’s not a great picture, but it’s something for now
