  Hi my name is mike and I am new to the house bunny life!! We got our first bunny Mr. Hopper because a friend was moving to Germany and could not take him, and yes it was love at first sight lol.
  1. Rabbit names: Mr. Hopper & Nibblette
  2. Rabbit Age:Mr Hopper is almost 2 years old and nibblette is 8 months old
  3. How long has your bunny been with you? We have had Mr. Hopper for 10 months snd Nibblette a few weeks after he was born (although we were told he was a she but found out different lol)
  4. Spayed/Neutered? They are both fixed.
  5. Rabbit Personality Traits (Calm, Diva, Naughty, Feisty, Sweet etc) Mr Hopper is mostly calm and loves to be pet and eat his nibble rings. Nibblette on the other hand is a mix. He can be naughty and too curious at times but is cute as a button. he is very vocal and grunts growles and makes multiple noises. when he wants a treat he will sit in front of you and act like he is chewing untill you give him something.

  Welcome! They have a great set-up. Sounds like they make a great pair – one is the silent type and the other is the comedian.

  oh ya thats the truth on that one. My son Kevin and I built thier home last weekend. we are all still getting adjusted to moving to Joplin MO. what is a good way to find a good vet? we are still new to the area and asked a few places but they dont deal with rabbits.

  There are 2 House Rabbit Society in Missouri, unfortunately neither are close ot Joplin.
  
  The closest I found was on this list, but it’s still not that close to you (Nixa):

  Thank you so much I was just on the phone with them and they hooked me to a vet that is right here in Joplin on main st that specializes in bunnies and small animals. and thank you all for welcoming us to the group, I have seen so many cuties on here.

  Hi! That IS a great setup. What kind of flooring did you use? I like the ramp idea, I just have shelves that they jump up on.

  I actually used untreated wood to support the shelves. Then I used the cube pieces for both the ramps and floors. Then I covered them with plain cardboard ziptied to the cube panels. I used some left over carpet on top of that for comfort for thier little paws. On the corners I used a nail to make a small hole to zip tie it down.

  thank you, I loved being a soldier but I had to medically retire so now my babies get to play with me all the time!!

  Welcome! That is a nice set up for your buns. I also noticed that the one in your profile pic looks like it may have a little bit of english spot in it, which is what my pain in the butt rabbit is. Her name is Momo the Destroyer.

  We love having the male rabbit owner’s perspective on here. We have some guys but a lot of the time it’s an “estrogen-fest”

  Lol I dont know y there isnt more men. But I get teased by my wife that I spoil my buns better then my kids lol, but Mr. Hopper & Nibblette are my kids too

  You should see my husband with Momo, he spoils and babies her all the time. He just isn’t an online forum guy.
