Hi!
Yes, please make sure to keep it indoors only. I am concerned because in your first post, you said it was an outdoor rabbit. It’s very important that rabbits are kept inside now, not only because of the weather (which is dangerous in itself) but because of any predators and especially because rabbits are very social. While some rabbits do prefer to be alone (I’m beginning to think one of my rabbits is better off as a solo bun) it’s natural for them to group together. Any animal that naturally hangs out together will not be happy alone. Please do reconsider getting a rabbit if you can’t make the necessary arrangement for it.
If you are going to keep the rabbit inside, well you’ve come to the right place! There probably isn’t a more knowledgeable group of people around.
I’ve learned tons just by looking at the forum topics and reading responses. It will help get you ready for when you do get a rabbit and give you some idea of vet costs, food costs, cage costs, etc! Of course, everyone is very helpful and nice here, so be sure to ask questions!
Do check out the habitat section because some of the cages are amazing! Many are cheap too! I have two xpens for my rabbits and while I like them because I can take them with me, I am sooooo envious of the C&C cages (cubes that usually are used for bookshelves).
