My name’s Rachel. I’m from Upstate New York and just adopted two lionhead bunnys about a month ago from a coworker. They are both a little over a year old and spayed girls. They came with the names Ginger and June but I’m still thinking of new names
June is a little more outgoing then Ginger but she’s coming around. I had a bunny a long time ago named Beatrix. She was a beautiful harlequin female. Unfortunately she passed about five years ago. To be honest, Beatrix was so shy that I had decided I probably would not have a rabbit again after she passed but alas, here I am with two of them. My coworker had three bunnies, two of the three were technically her roommates bunnies and the roommate no longer was taking care of them, leaving my coworker stuck doing all the work so I ended up taking them in for her.
I’m interested in animals, photography, music, and various other random interests. But mainly animals. I work for a locally owned pet store where we spay/neuter our rabbits and they are then sold for the cost of the spay/neuter($75.00). And all our other animals are given great care as well, most of them are from local shelters that we adopt out for them to help save the shelters space, especially kill shelters. I have a special interest in herpetology and keep and breed Crested Geckos as a hobby. The rest of my animal family consists of four crested geckos, a tarantula(rosehair), a ball python, three species of tropical fish, a cat, a rat, a hedgehog, and a short tailed opossum.
Here’s my bunnies!
First is Ginger, second one is June. These pictures were taken before they came to me.
