About my Bun
- Rabbit names: officially Elena.. but I call her Ellie, Ellie-bun, Bun-Bun etc.
- Rabbit Age: aprox 8 months
- How long has your bunny been with you? will be 2 weeks this Sunday. I adopted her from the Midwest Rabbit Rescue and Rehome (end shamleless plug here

- Spayed/Neutered? Oh yes!!
- Rabbit Personality Traits: she’s got some anxious tendencies but she’s warming up big time (I’m the frequent recipient of binkies and nose bumps). She’s very curious and a definite chewer (but I love her to death). She’s also a dwarf mix
About me
- Are you new to rabbits or have you been a bunny slave for a long while now? I’m a newbie. I’ve had Elena for almost 2 weeks now.
- What made you choose to have a rabbit companion in your life? I’ve had some form of pet my whole life. I’m not able to have a dog becuase of current living conditions. I’m not much of a cat person & I needed something that I can have an interactions with – insert bun here

Yes.. she’s beautiful. On the days that I sleep in later (days I go into work later or weekends) she’s been hopping up on my bed & either running around or just sniffing to get me up. It’s so cute.
There certainly will be more pics soon. She’s not a fan of the the camera flash so I’ve got to catch pics in the day time while there is light.
Her back story is she and about 6-7 of her littermates were resuced by a contruction worker- he was doing the final walk through before tearing the house down and he found them. Mostly starved and covered with parasites. The shelter fostered them & got them back to health. She certainly chose me when I went to Midwest Rabbit Rescue & Rehome. I was interesed in some other rabbits, but when I saw how large they were I wasn’t sure I’d have enough room. The shelter worker introduced me to Elena who ran right up to here cage.. checked me & worker out..let us pet her. Then we moved on to some other rabbits, but Elena kept looking at me from the front of her cage. She had that ears forward – hey I’m interested in you, don’t go away look. We then went and looked at more rabbits.. and guess who just kept watching me- little ms. Elena. They asked if I wanted to hold her.. of course I said yes. After a little bit Elena setted down in the crook of my arm while I petted her. End of Story… this one went home with me a week later
