  Hi everybody! I am getting my first ever bunny from a breeder April 9th. We have already picked out a sweet, broken orange-colored male Holland Lop, named Collier.
  
  Since I’ve never really taken care of a bunny before I’m sure I’m going to need lots of help which is why I’m so glad I found this forum! So any help would be appreciated, and if there’s any need-to-know info. before he gets here I would totally appreciate the advice!

  You’re in the right place (IMO) to get info. I’d start by looking thru the topics under BUNNY INFO top of page. Another worthwhile site is House Rabbit Society http://www.rabbit.org/care/new-bunny-index.html Has just about everything you need to know. Housing, diet, health topics etc. Also has listings of rabbit savvy vets. I recommend finding your rabbit vet sooner rather then later. Rabbits are termed as Exotics. Not all vets have up to date knowlege in treating rabbits, so you want to get one that you know is experienced and sees them regularly.
