         Hi everybody!

This is Casey. I am a junior in college, studying Studio Art and working towards a teaching certificate.

I have a 1 year old female (not sure what breed) spayed bun with black fur that has little white tic marks on the tips. Her snout, paws and the back of her neck behind her ears are solid black. Her name is Huckleberry. We did not know when we named her that she was a girl, she was very very tiny and we were not able to tell. The name stuck though because she still acts like Huck Finn. She hides her treats throughout the house, to save for later… once, I found an oatmeal cookie hidden under her stuffed animal. I keep a much closer eye on my food now. She loves to play and I swear she loves to get into trouble. When I say “no” she shakes her head at me, when I finally get up to make her stop doing what she is doing she shakes her tail and binkies and shakes her head and darts off, I swear I can almost hear her giggling. I’ve posted a lot more about her on my profile.

She is my first rabbit. I am 100% addicted to her. My mom calls Huckleberry her first grandchild.

-Looking forward to interacting with other fellow bun parents.

Welcome Casey! I love the name Huckleberry, so cute. I also think studio art is a way cool subject… I’m intrigued!

Thank you! She has free run when I am home and awake. Otherwise she stays in the extra bedroom. You could say she is a bit spoiled since she has her own bedroom haha. My boyfriend and I both work nights so she is in her room at night. She gets some running time before I go to class in the morning and then when I get home from class. I do not work many hours though, so I usually get up around 2am and let her run around on my nights off while I study and paint (which usually leads to me laying on the floor and playing Lets See How Far Up Mommy’s Nose We Can Nuzzle) I get the feeling that she is a little lonely so I am planning on getting her a large stuffed bun as soon as I can find one in the stores. I don’t think it will really help much but I can’t take in another rabbit at this time.

My friend teases me that the reason she is always so angry and stubborn is because I have given her a boys name, Im still happy we stuck with it though. It describes her personality pretty well.
