  So as I’m sure some of you saw, Eni was posted in the rescue section along with two other buns, due to be euthanized this last sunday. By saturday I couldn’t take it anymore and emailed Julia lol. She worked miracles on her end and found a temp foster home, and I found someone willing to drive her from SF to Seattle where I could meet them. Eni left wed night, and arrived here at her new home almost 48 hours later! She is settling in now, and so far has been so sweet. I’m excited to get to know her more as time goes on! And of course, introduce her to Rufus when the timing is right. Oh, and she’ll be getting a new name to go with her new start…we just haven’t come to an agreement on which name yet.

  Wow that is awesome! I’m sorry I missed the posts where you were thinking about adopting her!! Very very cool! I am so excited that she will have a new life with you! Congrats!! She is GORGEOUS!!

  I wasn’t sure if it was all going to work out in time, which is why I didn’t post about it before. She did good last night, seems to be enjoying her pen and finally started using the litter box again lol…I’ll let her explore the house more in a little bit. She’s definitely a bit bigger than Rufus, not used to that yet! :p

  For anyone wondering, Eni and 3 others were due to be euthanised last Sunday because the shelter that had them could not house them any longer. One of the rabbits was saved by a Rabbit Rescue organisation so is available for adoption. Not sure if the other 2 are in Rescues or were adopted.

  Aw thanks everyone!! She is such a sweetie, I just can’t believe it. She loves to be pet, and will run up to us and lay down flat on her belly with her little front paws sticking out in front of her as soon as you start petting her forehead. No biting from her, although Rufus has become a little terror…we had a bit of a medical emergency with our oldest son (resolved now I’m hoping), so I’ve been gone quite a bit the last few days. He’s not very happy with me (bit me good this morning, first time ever!) and neither are the birds. Trying to make up for it today with them! I did finally get around to weighing her last night, she’s 4.5 lbs, Rufus is just 3 lbs.
  
  Oh, her name is now Delilah. Hubby and I both came up with it separately, and he wasn’t liking the name I’d picked so we figured this is meant to be lol. Works for me, I like Lilah as a nickname.
