I adopted two bunnies from the Humane Society at Thanksgiving. I named them Kate and Spence, after Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy, and they are about a year and a half old. They are so cute! They were already bonded at the Humane Society and they act like such little love birds. They enjoy cuddling with each other and Spencer (the brownish one) quite often chases Kate around to wash her face for her. After being abandoned a couple of times and living in a shelter for a few months, they’re a little shy. Kate in particular does not at all appreciate being touched, but she’s a very brave little adventurer running around my apartment, jumping in my boyfriends shoes, pulling DVDs off of the shelf, and trying to jump on my book shelves. Spencer is generally more appreciative of petting and people-cuddling, but doesn’t do as much adventuring, although he enjoys following Kate around. They’ve both become much more comfortable with me and with their new home over the past couple of months and I look forward to continued bonding and adorable bunny games!
